Repertoire

The Repertoire List has been updated as of March 2016 and is compiled of pre-approved repertoire for the competition.
Musicians may select any movement.
An (*) is placed next to the suggested repertoire for the Junior Division. Senior Division contestants may not select repertoire with an (*).
Junior/Senior contestants: Click here to request a concerto (or a solo with orchestra accompaniment) that is not on the Repertoire List. We highly recommend contestants seek early approval of their concerto to avoid running out of time to prepare an alternate piece should your request not be granted.
No student shall perform a composition which he/she performed in any previous Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestras Young Musicians Competition. A student may select a concerto previously performed in a Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestras Young Musicians Competition for their contrasting piece of music for the Scholarship Auditions in subsequent years.
