Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestras Receives $12,000 Grant from Arizona Commission on the Arts
We’re excited to share that Phoenix Youth Symphony Orchestras (PYSO) has been awarded a $12,000 Creative Capacity Grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, an agency of the State of Arizona. This marks the first time PYSO has received funding from the Commission, and we are proud to be recognized among the many organizations working to strengthen the cultural landscape of Arizona.
This grant will help PYSO continue to offer exceptional ensemble training, community engagement, and public performance opportunities to young musicians across the region. It will also support efforts to expand access to transformative music education, especially for students who may face barriers to participating in orchestral programs.
We thank the Arizona Commission on the Arts for their investment in the future of the arts and in the development of Arizona’s young artists and leaders.
